Clintonville Farmers’ Market
North High Street and West Dunedin Road
Wednesdays, 4:30-7:30 p.m., through August 29
Clintonville welcomes its first mid-week evening market on July 11. “Slow Down Wednesdays,” a partnership of Clintonville Farmers’ Market, Global Gallery, and Slow Food Columbus, runs eight consecutive Wednesdays, July 11 through August 29, 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the same site as the Saturday Clintonville Farmers’ Market, N. High St. and W. Dunedin Road.
Slow Down Wednesdays is an outdoor farmers’ market offering customers the chance to shop mid-week for high-season produce. The market focus is on cooking, meal preparation and market staples, which include locally-grown and produced fruits and vegetables, artisan breads and baked goods, meats, cheese and eggs, honey, and flowers. Producers include some participants of the ongoing Saturday market and also new ones such as OSU Student Farm.
Slow Food Columbus will be onsite for weekly cooking demos and taste education events at the market tent. Global Gallery will provide music and food trucks specializing in delicious food made with local ingredients.
Customers can expect the eight week Slow Down Wednesday market to accept EBT/SNAP and debit cards just like the Saturday Clintonville Farmers’ Market. The Saturday market runs April 28 through October 29, 9:00 a.m. to noon.
