Every year, Slow Food holds Terra Madre Day to help bring attention to Terra Madre and to prompt local communities to think about what they can do to bring Terra Madre home—to spread the commitment to sustainability and good, clean, fair food to their neighbors and friends.
What better way to do that than to have a potluck?
Join us at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 9 (one day before Terra Madre Day, but a better day for most people’s schedules) for a potluck at the home of Board Chair Bear Braumoeller. The only requirement for admission will be a homemade, sustainably-sourced dish or beverage. Mostly, we’ll enjoy one another’s food and company, but we’ll also talk about the lessons our delegates took home from Terra Madre and the directions that they might suggest for our chapter.
We hope you can make it. Please sign up here to reserve a spot.
